I switched to a new laptop, installed X10 on it, and faced this problem yesterday. I contacted Corel customer support and tried the methods they suggested and it still didn't work. Then I gave their staff remote access to my laptop and he still couldn't fix the problem. Though it was clearly an issue of the software's compatibility with my audio device, the tech support seemed oblivious and did things like updating my graphic drive. The tech support then emailed me to say "In order to properly assess the circumstances at hand, I require a copy of your MSINFO32 report and a WinAudit report from your Windows OS." This felt very drastic so I just did more research on Google. I found your website, followed your step and voila! Even the many forums I visited online found this problem but was unable to solve it. So thank you very much for the useful tip on your page. Much appreciated!Rahmannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4465180051129281244.post-67622133531066534862020-06-11T08:00:30.918-06:002020-06-11T08:00:30.918-06:00I think your wonderful I want to marry you xxI think your wonderful I want to marry you xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12511339936373351864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4465180051129281244.post-70800392504057795832018-04-28T12:05:05.237-06:002018-04-28T12:05:05.237-06:00@nawsasad...
I'm sorry to hear that you ran i...@nawsasad...<br /><br />I'm sorry to hear that you ran into this - try the steps above (in the Screenshots) and see if that helps. Also, try changing the Output Device in Windows to Stereo Output - which means not 5.1 Surround or anything like that - the program seems to 'not like' anything but Stereo. <br /><br />Some other basic Troubleshooting Steps (for any issue in Windows) that you could also try, are:<br /><br />- Reinstalling the program<br />- Installing the program to a different location/drive (just in case it is a corrupt file issue and it is not removing/overwriting the file on reinstall)<br />- Totally uninstall all Corel programs (to remove all Corel System files that it put in the Windows System directories), then reboot, then install all Corel software again, installing the Recorder last (so that its' Libraries/Systemfiles get fully re-loaded<br />- Reinstall Windows (last possible step, most programs do not need this, I just mention it here because; if it has been a while since Windows was reinstalled, it 'fixes' a lot of issues, from hardware to software like this issue (Be sure to Format the Drive, after backing up any Data you would like to keep)<br /><br /><br />Hopefully one of these steps will solve it for you - good luck with it!The Game Tips And More Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13593607964431243788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4465180051129281244.post-79573685620633925722018-04-27T21:21:03.582-06:002018-04-27T21:21:03.582-06:00Hi, I have this problem: "prepare record fail...Hi, I have this problem: "prepare record failed!!! #15"<br />Could you please help me with it?<br />I have tried some things i found on youtube but they don't worknawsasadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01628208849732882757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4465180051129281244.post-43173231438435089112017-12-04T18:11:09.571-07:002017-12-04T18:11:09.571-07:00@Jonathan Roberts...
